Kerendia (finerenone) is a once-daily, non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist (MRA) prescribed to reduce the risk of kidney failure, cardiovascular death, and heart failure hospitalization in adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) associated with type 2 diabetes (T2D). It acts by protecting kidneys and heart, lowering risks of cardiovascular events.
